10. Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa receives Baton of Chairman COSC

I. Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa received the baton of Chairman, Chiefs of Staff Committee from outgoing Chairman COSC and Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Sunil Lanba.

II. Air Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa will be the Chairman COSC with effect from May 31, 2019 consequent to relinquishment of charge by Admiral Sunil Lanba upon superannuation.

11. Goa appoints Namrata Menonas brand ambassador to promote yoga

12. IIT Guwahati signs MoU with ISRO to set up first-of-its-kind space technology centre in the Northeast

I. IIT Guwahati has signed anMoU with The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to set up an IITG-ISRO Space Technology Cell (STC) at the institute where Assam Governor JagdishMukhi inaugurated a new academic complex and research and development building.

II. IITG-ISRO STC would be first of its kind in the North-east region to augment research and capacity building processes in the field of space technology.

13. HMSI partners with IDFC FIRST Bank to offer financing solutions

I. Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has partnered with IDFC FIRST Bank to provide financing solutions across the country.

II. The two partners have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) under which facilities like loans up to 100 per cent of vehicle cost, zero processing fee, down payment of₹999, and extended loan tenure of 48 months, among others will be offered to the two-wheeler maker’s customers.

14. Chelsea beat Arsenal in Europa League final
